Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches Episode 1

We have Yamada Ryu, yankee of his school, wandering about picking fights with anyone. He runs into Shiraishi Urara, the pretty honor student of his class and switches bodies with her. Hijinks ensue as they adapt to body swapping and more people get in on the action.

So what do you do when you find yourself in a girl's body?

Rub her boobs!

Grope her crotch!

*squeaking noises*

 

Don't forget to pinch her face in the mirror.

After the initial shock, Yamada(in her body) runs to find Shiraishi and finds her(in his body) nonchalantly taking lessons like a pro.

Protip for people short on grades.

While he's living the life of a reformed yankee girl, he solves her problems, albeit with his usual yankee methods. People who have read the manga will feel that the first episode seemed rushed and left out some scenes.

Initial impressions:

This seems like a fun anime, but as all adaptations go, it might go either way. The art is nice and the plot flows smoothly despite the omissions. I would keep watching it, to see how it goes.

Unlike other series of the same genre, the gags are not overly funny while maintaining a certain amount of hilarity.
